Come and help keep our kids educated and safe!
How many people do you know that can read? Now, how many people do you know that can't read? Did you know that you may actually know someone who does not know how to read and they have been faking it this whole time? Don't ask me how they do it I just know it's quite possible that you may know someone who is ashamed to tell you that they do not know how to read. Sounds crazy, I get it. But still possible. If we can just get the word out about the New Gen of Reno Rotary Club's book drive, you can help us solve this problem at an early age and before a child becomes self conscience with his peers. We don't want our children growing up as adults with a poor self image about themselves. I think our kids have enough problems on their shoulders without worrying about that. We as parents and adults can help them with that one less thing to worry about. If you have any books you could please donate to this book drive we would all greatly appreciate your help as a family and as a community. Let me again share with you the importance of reading, and teaching those around us how to read and that there is nothing to be ashamed of because we all have difficulties we need to overcome. Reading is one of the most important issues we need to deal with starting with our children and here is why.
