Children Want To Read

Kids want to learn how to read. Even at a young age they are very aware of the importance of reading. Children are very curious and they always want to copy what they see their parents do. So, if they see you reading a newspaper, they want to read it. If they see you reading a book, they want to read it. Children get very frustrated when they are not able to follow in their parents fundamental footsteps. When you see a child get upset sometimes it's not because they are being bad, it is because they are frustrated with themselves for not being able to keep up with the grown-ups. So don't get mad at them, instead just pull out a book and read to them, teach them.
